Making home upgrades to save on energy costs can come with unaffordable upfront costs and high-interest loans. The Indiana Energy Saver Program is bringing low-interest financing to Northwest Hoosiers and plans to expand their Smart-E program across the state. These are no money down, low-interest financing, and easy to apply for loans that can help you afford solar panels, new HVAC systems, water heating, and safety equipment.
Loans range from $500 to $50,000 with over 40 supported energy improvements. If you fall into the low-to-moderate-income range and own a one-to-four unit home, there's an easy application process to secure better financing for home energy improvements.
