Indiana E-Cycle
IDEM's Recycle Indiana provides resources for grants and recycling programs across Indiana.

In July of 2009, the Indiana General Assembly enacted the Indiana Electronic Waste Law, which established that in the state electronics cannot be put into the landfill. They must be recycled. This is because there are hazardous substances found in electronic waste.
This program pushes collector, recyclers, retailers, and consumers to do reduce toxins from permeating our ecosystems. As a part of the program, they developed a list of certified collectors by county. In Vanderburgh, we have 8 e-collectors. These include all Goodwill locations, Best Buy, Staples, Invironmental Technologies, and C& I Electronics.
Items prohibited from being discarded include:
Televisions
Computer monitors
Computers (including desktops, laptops, and tablets)
E-readers
Fax machines
Peripherals (including keyboards, mice, external hard drives, printers, all-in-one printer/scanner/copiers, projectors, and any other devices that are sold exclusively for external use with a computer and provide input into or output from a computer)
DVD players (including gaming systems that are able to play DVDs)
Digital photo frames
Digital media players
iPods/MP3 players
Camcorders/cameras
DVR/TiVo devices (including cable boxes and satellite boxes, but not satellite dishes)
Portable GPS navigation systems
Please visit one of the listed location to recycle all electronics.
